2022-2023 Tryouts
TRYOUT FEE: $50.00 (cash only please) – *If selected, a registration fee of $175.00 will be required to secure your spot on the roster.
- Age groups are determined by the age on July 1 of the following year.
(Example: if you are 14 on July 1, 2022, you will try out for the 14’s age division) - Early tryouts will be available upon request beginning June 13th. If you would like to schedule an early tryout, please contact us in advance.
Tournament Info
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES will be posted October 2021
Local Teams will compete in single-day tournaments held in San Antonio and surrounding areas (New Braunfels, Seguin, La Vernia, Schertz)
Regional Teams will compete in tournaments held in San Antonio, Austin, and Houston, and will compete in the Lone Star Regional Qualifier.
National Teams will compete in the two Texas qualifiers (LSC & LSR) and one out of state qualifier tournament during the regular season.
Regional and National teams will compete in tournaments that will require overnight stay. The club travel coordinator will designate a place for teams to stay and will find the best team rate. Volleyball is a team sport and we believe that keeping all the players at the same location will contribute to the team’s chemistry so we encourage everyone to stay at the same location.
Post Season: Teams that earn a bid at a National qualifying tournament will participate in the National Junior Olympic Tournament (JO’s). Teams that do not qualify will have the option to participate in the National AAU Championship tournament in Orlando, FL.
** Post season fees are not included in your tuition.
All Players: are expected to arrive at the designated tournament site at least ONE HOUR before their first scheduled match or referee/scorekeeping assignment.
If you know in advance that your child will not be able to attend a tournament, please notify your Coach or the Director ASAP.
Teams are responsible for bringing their own meals and drinks to every tournament. Chairs, ice chests, and tables are usually allowed.
Teams will play at least three to four matches at each tournament so we suggest healthy foods, fruits and drinks to keep them hydrated and fed, (not full). We suggest each team designate a team Mom or Dad, to coordinate these responsibilities.
And last but not least, keep in mind that you are representing IMPACT Volleyball. We expect every player and parent to “EXEMPLIFY THE UTMOST CHARACTER, RESPECT, AND COMPETITIVE SPIRIT, ON AND OFF THE COURT”.
